CEO and President of American Dairy, Chairman Leng is responsible for the overall strategic planning, management and business development of Feihe Dairy. Mr. Leng has been in the dairy industry for more than 20 years. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Food Engineering from Northeast Agriculture University, China, and studied Business Administration at Beijing University. From 1989 to 1997, Mr. Leng acted as technician, deputy director and director of ZhaoGuang Dairy Plant, the predecessor of Feihe Dairy. From 1997-2000, Mr. Leng was the General Manager of Feihe Dairy. He became the Chairman and General Manager in 2000. He has researched and patented the "liver protection milk powder".
Liu Hua is the Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, and Director of American Dairy and was the Chief Financial Officer of Feihe Dairy from November 2000 to April 2008. From June 1998 to November 2000, he was the CEO of Shenzhen Cima Limited. From September 1993 to January 1996, he was the CEO of Zhengzhou Huacheng Limited. Mr. Liu received a degree from Xian Traffic University in 1993.
Director of American Dairy, Mr. Liu is responsible for the overall financial planning and management of Feihe Dairy. He graduated from Northeast Agriculture University with a Bachelor of Economics degree in Economic Management in 1992. Mr. Liu has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. He joined Feihe Dairy in 1992 and has held his current position since 1998.
Mr. Chou brings to American Dairy over 15 years of finance and accounting experience in the U.S. and Asia. Prior to joining American Dairy, he served as Asia Pacific Corporate Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions of Honeywell International (NYSE: HON). In this role, Chou managed the company's M&A activities in China and managed a number of corporate strategic initiatives across the region. From 2003 to 2006, Chou served as the Asia Regional Chief Financial Officer of Tyco Fire & Security ('TFS'), a division of Tyco International (NYSE: TYC), where he introduced initiatives to improve operating efficiency and improve corporate governance. He also implemented consistent financial and operating policies across entities in TFS to strengthen the internal control over financial reporting systems for purposes of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Prior to Tyco, Chou was the Asia Pacific Chief Financial Officer of Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU) in Hong Kong. During his tenure at Lucent, he led the company's regional operations to support the restructuring requirements during the softening of the telecommunication sector. Mr. Chou co-founded the Children's Heart Foundation, a Hong Kong registered charity and also held the position as first Chairman. Mr. Chou is fluent in English and Mandarin and holds an MBA degree from Duke University and received executive training at Harvard Business School.
With more than 12 years of experience in sales and marketing, Mr. Nie joined the Company from Anlac Dairy, Fonterra Co-operative Group's ('Fonterra') joint venture in China. Mr. Nie's work experience also includes serving as the General Sales Manager of the milk powder products department of Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group (SHA: 600887) ('Yili') from 2003 to 2006. In this position, Mr. Nie was responsible for the implementation of Yili's sales and marketing strategy. Mr. Nie received his Bachelor's Degree in Thermal Engineering from the Central South University in China.
Ms. Tu brings to American Dairy a wealth of knowledge and experience in operating Chinese companies as well as a background in U.S. law. She went to the University of California, Berkeley and received her J.D. from Loyola Law School. Ms. Tu is also a licensed attorney in the State of California. Prior to joining, Ms. Tu served as President of Fuki America Inc., where she was involved in the production, transportation, marketing and sales of products in China. Before Fuki, Ms. Tu was the Senior Director of International Affairs at American Utilities Services, where she completed a joint venture agreement to build power plants for the Jinzhou Economic & Technological Development Zone in Liaoning province in China. Ms. Tu is fluent in English and Mandarin and is proficient in Spanish.
Ms. Zhang is the Director of Accounting and Reporting and brings to American Dairy a wealth of knowledge and experience in both accounting and finance. She is a Certificated Public Account of China (CICPA) and received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Renmin University of China. Ms. Zhang also has a Masters of Business Administration degree from the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University in collaboration with MIT Sloan. She also studied at ESADE in Barcelona, Spain. Prior to joining American Dairy, Ms. Zhang served as Assurance Manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she worked in the manufacturing, transportation and logistics, and services industry. Ms. Zhang is also fluent in Mandarin and English.
